Merida Renaissance Dress – Green

You can look elegant at your next medieval LARP event or Renaissance faire by simply wearing the Green Merida Renaissance Dress. Made from cotton, this light-green Renaissance dress comes in two sizes. It has a style reminiscent of 15th and early 16th century dresses like the gamurra, which was most popular in Northern and Central Italy, such as in the city of Florence.

This noble ladies dress features a relatively high V-shaped neckline with a white ruffled trim. The fitted bodice and full skirt have a printed diamond pattern. This dress mimics the laced sleeves found on gamurra-style dresses.

It has sections of white in between two longer sections of green, which cover the upper and lower arms. There are matching green straps over the top of the white sections. This creates the appearance of open sleeves worn over a chemise even though each sleeve is a single piece. This dress fits a wide variety of characters. It looks great as a part of a cosplay or in a theatrical production.
