The Spangenhelm with Medium Flare Nasal Guard features a design that was common during the 11th century, including the Norman invasion of 1066. Made from 16-gauge steel, this Viking helmet comes in two sizes. It has a rounded, conical design. Two reinforcing strips cross over the top of the helmet. There is another reinforcing strip that runs around the bottom edge of the helmet.
In front, there is a nasal guard that hangs down to protect the nose. The sides of the nasal guard flare outward slightly towards the bottom. Meanwhile, the nasal guard angles inwards towards the face. Rivets secure the nasal guard in place. The guard has concave curves on the sides, just below the bottom edge of the Norse helmet. On the inside, the helmet has a leather liner. Also, it features a chin strap for securing it onto the head. This helmet is great for historical reenactments, LARP events, Ren faires, and more.
