When you wish to fight as a Renaissance mercenary or noble, do not forget to carry a dagger like the Large Parrying Dagger by Cold Steel. Made from 1055 high carbon steel, this functional dagger has a double-edged, spearpoint blade. The long, wide blade helps the blade oppose swords in combat in addition to piercing chainmail and leather armour. A narrow fuller runs down half the length of the blade.
The parrying dagger continues with a unique crossguard. The quillons of the crossguard curve towards the center and down towards the blade. It creates a sword catcher design. Four ridges run along the length of each quillon. There is a ring in the center of the crossguard to provide additional protection for the wearers hand from enemy blades. The hilt continues with a barrel-shaped grip. Wire wraps around the grip, making it easier to grasp. The hilt ends with a steel, scent stopper-style pommel. Finally, the dagger comes with a black leather scabbard. It has a silver-colored chape and throat. They have an arrow-shaped detail pointing towards the center of the scabbard. The Large Parrying Dagger by Cold Steel is great for reenactments and weapon collections.
