Athena Initium Construction from Ateliers Nemesis

Part of the Athena Initium line from Ateliers Nemesis, this LARP sword has a cutting-edge construction for heightened detail, safety, and durability. Thermoforming fuses the closed cell foam of the blade together, making this LARP weapon ultra safe and shred-resistant. A fiberglass core in the center makes it a strong and flexible weapon. This LARP samurai sword is coated in a layer of latex for longevity. A unique weighting system then gives this LARP weapon a point of balance for natural maneuverability. You will feel just like you are wielding the real thing, simply made safe for LARP.

Like true katana from Japanese history, this two-handed LARP sword has a curved blade and a curved hilt. All along the blade are minor imperfections, giving it a weathered, battle-damaged finish. This battle-damage makes it look like a survivor of countless battles. This durable foam blade then surrounds a strong fiberglass core which is in turn reinforced with a high weave polyester similar to Kevlar for heightened safety. The single-edged silver blade has a groove down the length called the hi. The tsuba, also known as the crossguard, is a notched oval similar to the mokko gata style. This crossguard even has a blade collar, or habaki, above.

Further down, the hilt, or tsuka, has black wrapping over black faux ray skin. The kashira, or pommel, is a faceted black cap. The wrappings, pommel, and guard are all black for a matching color scheme. Care Instructions:
