The pommel is sturdy, the handle feels amazing! The cross guard is a little flimsy, but given its weight distribution, you naturally want to hold it further up, so your knuckle and guard is enough to stop a blade. The blade came unlubed, but has a lovely rough texturing, giving it a nice weathered look. The Duelist is a little off balance. (I bought the 85cm one) The weight is about… a third of the way up, so its a little top heavy, but with the handle construction it is fun to do spin moves. The stopping is a bit rough, and I’m noticing me having to strain my wrist to stop it as well as to swing. I give it a 7/10, higher rating as it is definitely the most Gorgeous of my collection of swords!
