Athena Initium Construction from Ateliers Nemesis

Part of the Athena Initium line from Ateliers Nemesis, this foam Viking knife has a cutting-edge construction for heightened detail, safety, and durability. Thermoforming fuses the closed cell foam of the blade together, making this LARP weapon ultra safe and shred-resistant. A fiberglass core in the center makes it a strong and flexible weapon. This LARP Saxon knife is coated in a layer of latex for longevity. A unique weighting system then gives this Norse fantasy LARP weapon a point of balance for natural maneuverability. You will feel just like you are wielding the real thing, simply made safe for LARP.

The short, single-edged blade of this LARP scramasax is designed after the sheepsfoot blade style. All along the blade are minor imperfections, giving it a weathered, battle-damaged finish. This battle-damage makes it look like a survivor of countless raids and battles. This durable foam blade then surrounds a strong fiberglass core which is in turn reinforced with a high weave polyester similar to Kevlar for heightened safety. Instead of a guard, it has a round bolster with a tapered middle decorated with knotwork. Add the Viking’s LARP Sword (AN-0137) as your primary weapon to complement this seax, sold separately.

Moving down the length, the handle is also crafted with a blackened finish. The Borre-style knotwork dragon is engraved on the handle to give you a secure grip.
