This helmet is designed like the iconic Vendel and Gjermundbu Viking helmets found in history. It’s perfect for epic LARP combat and costuming.

Like its historical inspiration, the skull is made of four plates curled together to meet at the top and riveted for added durability. In between the plates are leaf-shaped accents reinforcing the skull and adding another layer of detail. Attached to the helm, in the front, are a combined goggle visor and browband. The goggle visor protects your nose and eyes from glancing blows in battle. The browband has a concave border for an extra layer of detail.

The adjustable chinstrap is attached to both sides of the helmet underneath the aventail. The aventail has a blackened finish to intimidate your enemies and inspire your allies. Slip it under your chin and buckle for a snug fit. The chainmail aventail wraps around the entire neck and hangs over the upper chest when worn.
