The sword blade features a strong profile taper and a thick ricasso, as well as a central ridge that gives stiffness to the blade. The taper ensures a strong thrusting point, while its overall size ensures power and weight behind both thrusts and slashes. The blade itself is forged from dual hardened 5160 high carbon steel. A fuller extends down three-fourths of the blade, helping reduce its weight. The crossguard is narrow with slightly curled quillons that feature rounded knots on their ends. The scent stopper pommel adds a bit more to the grip and provides extra balance to the sword. The grip is constructed from wood and wrapped with leather around the swords full length tang, which is peened to the pommel. Included with the sword is a matched scabbard, constructed from wood and wrapped in leather, which will keep the sword safe and secure when not in use. This functional weapon does not come with a sword belt, so you are free to carry and wear it however best suits your tastes and needs.
