A Tribute to the Empire

Crafted from leather, these greaves are intended for LARP combat and creating a distinct Roman Empire-inspired look. They’re sold as a pair. They have included circular knee protection at the top. The Roman greaves have circular brass accents just below the knees. Brass studs anchor the greaves and they’re gradually placed closer until you get to the ankle.

Two leather straps, one at the ankle and another at the calf, give you a highly adjustable fit. Both greaves have concave cutouts for fitting over your ankles. A 14 gauge aluminum reinforcement gives you great ankle protection without the extra weight. The center tapering panel is brown and the rest of the greave is black. This gives you a rugged Roman-inspired style. These one size LARP greaves fit most.

Materials:

• Made from 8-9-ounce leather with brass hardware
• Ankle plate is 14-gauge aluminum

Care Instructions:

• Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Let dry naturally. Condition with oil or polish, then wipe with a final cloth to remove excess residue.
