Nemain Sword Frog – Brown

With the battle done and you having claimed victory over the enemy, you place your blade back into the Brown Nemain Sword Frog at your side. In Celtic mythology, Nemain was one of three figures of the Morrigan, goddess of war.

Made from leather, this Celtic sword frog comes in left- and right-hand options. The brown frog has a tube design with a belt slide back. This tube laces up with black ties, making it adjustable for a range of sword sizes. On the sides of the tube, there is an embossed knotwork pattern. The tube sits at an angle.

Attached to the back of the tube is a rectangular piece of leather. It has rounded corners. There are two slits in the leather, allowing it to slide onto a ring belt or buckle belt, not included. This design makes it easy to keep your sword at your side with minimal fuss. The Celtic belt frog makes an ideal addition to any reenactment outfit or LARP costume.

Care Instructions:

• Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Let dry naturally. Condition with oil or polish, then wipe with a final cloth to remove excess residue.
