When you go camping and wish to warm your site with a historical aesthetic, make sure to check out the Medieval Fire Pit and its great style. Made from iron bands, this circular fire pit has open, slat-like sides and a tripod base. Three of the side bars curl up at the bottom to form the feet of the pit. The tops of the same bars curl downward to create a cohesive look. On the inside of the fire pit, there is a latticework bottom. Because of the tripod feet, the lattice is above the ground. This makes it easier to hold coals in the fire pit while the ashes fall through the bottom. Then, there are two rings that run horizontally around the sides. One is at the middle of the fire pit and the other at the top. Rivets hold the fire pit together. This fire pit is great for a reenactment, faire display, or even adding some medieval style to your backyard.
