If you are looking for a Japanese-inspired knife to take with you on your adventures, then the Kanetsune Nishiki Knife may be right for you. Made from 15-layer Damascus steel, this functional knife features a drop-point blade. It features a blued finish. Also, the blade features a Rockwell hardness of 61-62.
The Japanese knife continues with a dark stainless-steel handguard. This guard extends outward on the edge side of the knife. It helps to keep a hand from sliding onto the blade.
Next, the wooden handle features a wrapped grip in a katana-like style. Black cord wraps around the grip to create texturing for a more secure grasp. Underneath the cord, there is a blue brocade wrapping. The grip widens towards the end to help keep a hand on the grip.
Finally, this outdoor knife comes with a sheath. The rectangular sheath features a series of engraved characters near the side. Also, the magnolia wood sheath secures the Kanetsune Nishiki Knife in place with a snap strap.
At the top of the sheath, there is a loop for sliding it onto a belt, not included. There are a couple of leather straps with buckles near the top of the sheath. This hunting knife is great for a variety of tasks in the outdoors or wilderness.
