In the middle, the twin ravens of Odin, Huginn and Muninn, are painted by hand. The black ravens have white trim on a red field. As an added layer of detail, the ravens of Odin are perched on intricate knotwork that connects at the bottom. Below the shield boss is the iconic triquetra, a spiritually significant symbol representing the cycle of life. Even the ravens’ wings are painted with swirling triquetra patterns.
