This is a nice piece of steel. Shape is graceful and machining is well done. It comes unsharpened but is easy to put an edge on with a grinding wheel (a belt sander would work also). I mounted this to a pole by sanding it to shape. Didn’t have an appropriate power tool so I did it by hand with a 3” 100 grit sanding belt. Appreciated having the two pre-drilled and countersunk mounting holes. #6 screws work well for that. Finished it up with some protective machine oil to prevent rusting. Recommend this for your spear project.
