Iconic Crusader Design

Crafted from 18 gauge mild steel with brass accents, this knight helmet brings the valor of the Crusades into your armory. The helmet has a blackened finish for added intimidation and style. This crusader great helmet has the characteristic flat top, straightened sides, and a barrel-like shape. The top of the skull has a riveted steel band for added reinforcement.

In front, the iconic brass crusader cross is riveted around the horizontal eye slits. Each arm of the cross ends in a riveted Fleur de Lis, a common symbol of knighthood and chivalry in medieval Europe. The vertical lines and cut-outs in the helmet act as vents.

Inside, this knight helmet has leather lining so you can wear it without an arming cap or add your own preferred padding. This Knights Templar helmet also has an adjustable leather chin strap.

Care Instructions:

• This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil.
