Forged from stainless steel, this scifi laser sword boasts a unique alien design inspired by human archetypes of edged weapons. Starting with the curved, single-edged blade, it has a red cutting edge from the forte down to the foible. This red cutting edge resembles energy rippling along the blade. The curved foible has an upswept tip with a pointed false edge that tapers into the forte. There is an alien glyph engraved on the foible. In the middle of the blade is a hinge system. Please note this hinge cannot move, and it cannot fold the blade. The spine of the blade, closest to the base, resembles that of an alien creature. On the other side, there is a concave notch called a choil for added detail.

Moving down to the hilt, it has a handle that is meant to be wielded with one hand like a scimitar or a machete. The grey steel guard has a weathered finish. Instead of a traditional crossguard, this single guard extends over the handle with two claws. A spiny, whip-like tail coils around the guard’s bolster for more alien detail. The handle is wrapped in faux brown leather, almost as if taken from an extraterrestrial creature, with a distinct inward curve to accommodate your one-handed grip. At the bottom, the alien sword has a flat pommel point facing away from the blade.

This scifi xenos sword comes with a wooden display stand. The stand has a flat bed and two curved arms. These arms face opposite directions, and are designed to hold the sword at two points: by the guard and by the tip of the blade. It’s easy to display this alien fantasy sword in your decor. Simply lay the sword on the stand with the blade facing down, and make sure the stand is holding it by the guard on one side and the tip of the blade on the other. This provides balance and ensures it will stay in place if displayed correctly.
