It has a traditional bascinet helmet shape. The top of the helmet is 14 gauge mild steel while the rest of it is 16 gauge mild steel. Next, the helmet features a face plate that has a rounded shape and a ridge down the center. The face plate has ventilation holes on the sides in a grid pattern. Additional slots angle outwards to form the eye holes. There are a couple rows of holes above the eye slots. In addition, you can open and close the face plate. It attaches to the helmet with pins and latches at the sides. The faceplate secures with a spring locking mechanism.
At the bottom, the helmet has a plate that protects the neck. It has two holes in front for attaching to other pieces of armour, not included. Finally, the helmet secures on the head with a chin strap. It also has an adjustable liner and padding for greater comfort.
