Leather Holder For Drinking Horn

You never know when the occasion might call for a toast! Have your Viking drinking horn handy with the Leather Holder for Drinking Horn. Wear it on your medieval belt at your next reenactment, medieval festival, or Viking feast.

Your thirst for adventure is as endless as the sea. The Viking Jormungandr Genuine Drinking Horn is the perfect vessel to help quench your actual thirst on your next pillage.

Jormungandr, or the World Serpent, is carefully carved by hand on the front of this Viking drinking horn. In Norse mythology, this legendary sea dragon encircles the Earth, only breaking its hold on its own tail to fight the thunder god Thor at Ragnarok, the end of the world.

Beautiful swirling borre knotwork creates the body of the dragon. This swirling design accents the center part of the drinking horn. Spiraling carved lines then accent the horn down to the tip.

Made of natural horn, no two drinking horns are exactly alike. They may vary in size, shape, and color, so each Viking horn will be unique!

This functional drinking horn can safely be used for drinking. It begs to come along on your next Viking feast or along on your next Viking LARP raid. Keep it at your side using one of our drinking horn frogs. This carved drinking horn is a must-have accessory for any Viking costume, cosplay, or reenactment kit.

Then, when not pillaging, you can proudly display it on one of our drinking horn stands. Its carved Norse mythology design makes a great conversation starter among any style of home decor or themed feastware collection.

How to Clean and Care for your Drinking Horn:

  • Your drinking horn will arrive to you clean, however we still recommend that you thoroughly clean your drinking horn before use.
  • Soak the drinking horn in hot water with dish soap. Scrub the inside of the horn with a bottle brush, making sure to get as far into the tip as possible. Rinse well.
  • Fix the horn to stand upright and fill with warm water. Drop two denture tablets into the horn and let it sit overnight or for at least 8 hours. The ingredients in these tablets will provide further deep cleaning. After the horn has soaked, scrub with a bottle brush again and rinse well.
  • If you desire, you can coat the inside of the horn with a food safe epoxy. This would make washing much easier and less time consuming. If you choose not to seal the inside, just follow the steps above when washing.
