With a head forged from 2Cr13 stainless steel, this survival spear is a durable, sleek, and deadly addition to your kit. This tactical spear is officially licensed by the United States Marine Corps. The spear is nearly four feet long to give you a significant advantage in reach.
At the top, the steel blade is sharpened on both edges. The blade is long and shaped like a leaf, perfect for slashing and piercing alike. This two-tone blade blends a traditional spear design with the sleek aesthetics of modern weaponry. Along the cutting edge, the blade is silver. The interior is black for added contrast. There are two perforated holes within the blade to remove excess weight without compromising its integrity.
Further down, the blade tapers into wide, angled points on each side. In between the points and the blade are concave choils to keep your grip from slipping onto the blade. These points act as a guard, preventing the blade from piercing too deeply into a practice target. The blade is riveted to the fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle at three points. Not only is the handle extremely durable, this ensures the blade won’t easily fall off.
Moving down the shaft, it has a contoured section for a secure grip. The entire length of the shaft is OD Green. OD Green stands for “Olive Drab Green,” and it’s the quintessential color for most military gear. Two more angled points are on each side of the USMC logo. Two sections on the shaft are wrapped in sturdy, reliable paracord. At the bottom of the shaft is a truncated pommel that can also become a walking aid.
This fully functional spear comes with a rubberized Vortec sheath. The sheath slots over the blade and is designed to fit over the top of the guard. The sheath is hollow to show off the blade. There are notches along the edges of the sheath for added detail and a secure grip. When you’re not using it, you can keep the blade safe by inserting it into the sheath.
