Take on your enemies in the early Middle Ages as a mighty Viking when you wield the Ulfberht Rus Viking Sword on the battlefield. Made from 1060 high-carbon steel, this functional Viking sword takes its inspiration from a 9th century original found in Russia. This Rus sword has a double-edged blade with a fuller down its length. Etched into the fuller is the word Ulfberht on one side. The other side features linear detailing.

The sword continues with a short, straight brass crossguard. Next, brown leather wraps around the wooden grip. The hilt ends with a tea-cozy brass pommel. Steel wire adorns the pommel.

This pommel features the two-part construction found on historical Viking swords. Riveting secures the lower part onto the tang. Additional rivets attach the pommel cap to this lower part of the pommel. Both the guard and pommel feature a historical pitted finish.

Finally, this Norse sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Brown leather covers the scabbard. It has a brass chape, throat, and belt loop. Take this sword to your next historical reenactment or battle. It also looks wonderful added to a weapon collection.
