On each side of the fuller, the blade has a medial spine to create a diamond-shaped cross section.

Moving down to the hilt, it’s been treated with a blackened finish for sophisticated style. The blocky, cruciform crossguard has twisting quillons. It angles out over the base of the blade in the middle, also known as the chappe. These twisting quillons end in blocky knobs. Further down, the handle is wrapped in black leather to secure your grip. This grip can be held one-handed like knightly swords from medieval history.
