There are many dragons in fiction, but few with the depth and lore of Smaug, the dragon from J.R.R. Tolkiens classic book, The Hobbit. From inside the bowels of the Lonely Mountain, Smaug guards a stolen treasure – a treasure Thorin Oakenshield and his company of 12 dwarves are intent on reclaiming. This black T-Shirt from the movie The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey shows the way Smaug is depicted on maps of Middle Earth. He is circling the Lonely Mountain and is cast in red, surely to denote the vengeful fire of his breath. While understated, this Junior T-Shirt captures the fear of Smaug in just a few red strokes.
