At the top, a horned ram skull stares toward the visitor. Its face points downwards. Hanging from its mouth is the black, knobbed knocker. Directly below the ram skull is a pair of human skulls, facing out to the sides.
Scrollwork curls from the sides of the rams head and onto the tops of the human skulls. Each of these human faces grins with an open mouth. Between these two skulls is a cross pattee with raised borders.
Below the cross is another skull. This one ends at the upper jaw and features a pair of crossed bones behind it. There are three holes, one in each one of the human skulls, for screwing the bronze-colored knocker onto a door. Hardware does not come included.
