Inspired by the Imperial Legions

Crafted from leather, these pauldrons are intended for LARP combat and creating a distinct Roman Empire-inspired look. They’re sold as a pair. They are meant to attach to the Roman Leather Cuirass (RT-545). They protect the shoulders and the upper arms in successive tiers, allowing for a degree of articulation. Each tier is rich brown with black trim for a rugged Roman warrior look.

At the top, there are open brass grommets for lacing. This allows you to attach them to a cuirass or even a leather harness. Three leather segments riveted together form a single strap over the uppermost pauldron segment. This single strap has a circular brass accent on either end and covers the front of the chest to the back behind the shoulder. There is an adjustable leather strap located at the bottom of the pauldron. This strap secures the fit around the arm just above the elbow on most.

Care Instructions:

• Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Let dry naturally. Condition with oil or polish, then wipe with a final cloth to remove excess residue.
