Moving down the length, the steel guard angles toward the blade on each quillon. However, the middle of the guard curls away from the blade slightly. The handle, complete with concave finger sections, is made from red wood. The red wood plates of the handle are riveted to the tang. At the bottom, the steel guard flares out slightly to add a counterbalance while securing your grip.

This knife comes with a black nylon sheath. At the top, the sheath has a handle clasp and a belt loop. Snap the clasp over the handle of your knife to keep it in place. When worn, the sheath holds your knife straight up and down. There are rivets along the edges of the sheath for detail and support. At the bottom, there is a stud that keeps the tip of the blade from poking through.
