Made from a specialty latex-free polyurethane foam, this LARP knife is designed to last in your collection for years to come with little to no maintenance. A fiberglass core in the center makes it a strong and flexible weapon, ensuring it keeps its shape after multiple battles. The seax, also called the sax or scramasax, was a short knife used for daily tasks and as a warrior’s sidearm during the Migration Period to the early medieval period. You will feel just like you are wielding the real thing, simply made safe for live action roleplaying.

Starting with the single-edged blade, it has the iconic sheepsfoot style reminiscent of the historical seax. This historical LARP weapon has a narrow fuller down the blade supported by shallow ones on each side. The purpose of these fullers is to remove excess weight from the blade without affecting its balance and durability. The medieval LARP seax’s manageable length makes it quick and easy to control in battle. It can slip past enemy shields and defenses while in close quarters engagements like shield walls.

Instead of a guard, this foam langseax has a round steely grey bolster. There is a swirling accent engraved on the base of the blade for Norse detail. The handle is textured to resemble wrapped leather. It has layers of strips crossed over one another for a secure grip and a pleasing texture. At the bottom, the pommel is a steely grey bolster.
