Forged as one piece from C60 high-carbon steel, this medieval longsword is designed to withstand the rigors of sport and stage combat. Carbon steel is renowned for its strength and durability. The design is inspired by the Knights Templar and gothic longsword styles of high medieval Europe.

The unsharpened, double-edged blade has a rounded tip. This makes it great for blade-on-blade contact sparring. A fuller runs all the way down the length. The steel crossguard has a twisted design and ends in quillons with cross cut-outs. Made of wood and wrapped in leather with a spiraling pattern, the handle accommodates a secure grip. At the bottom, the peened disk-shaped pommel adds strength and a counterbalance to the sword. Like the quillons, the pommel has a cross accent.

This medieval knight sword comes with a wooden scabbard wrapped in black leather. The scabbard has two steel hanging rings attached to it for easy attachment to your sword belt. At the top, the throat is accented with another cross. The bottom of the scabbard has a buttoned chape for securing the tip of the sword.
