At the base, the blade has concave curves before the crossguard. The crossguard is as wide as the widest part of the blade.
Then, the hilt continues with the long handle. It has contoured sides for a more secure grip. The long grip has additional pieces of steel that make it thicker than the blade. Black leather wraps around the grip. The handle tapers inwards before widening at the end into a short pommel.
