This updated version of the M48 machete is even tougher than before. Make sure to check out the M48 Combat Machete Gen II. Made from 3Cr13 stainless steel, this machete features a blade with a titanium electroplated finish.
The blade has a drop-point tip. At the base of the blade, along the spine, there is a short sawback section. The blade widens at the base to form a handguard, which helps to keep a hand from sliding onto the blade.
Next, the handle has an impact-resistant, thermoplastic polyurethane grip. It features grooves and texturing for a better grip. Screws secure the grip to the full tang of the blade. The hilt ends with a small loop, ideal for attaching a lanyard, not included.
Finally, this machete comes with a reinforced MOLLE belt sheath. This tactical machete works for a variety of tasks in a range of scenarios.
