Then, an inner steel bone structure creates an hourglass silhouette. Inside, 12 spiral steel bones dispersed throughout the corset reinforce the shape. Then, 2 flat steel bones at the back provide a better grip while lacing. As this corset top covers the top of the hips, it further creates a more dramatic hourglass shape.
