The Chelsea On the Thames Pub from the Dickens Village collection by Department 56 is a great place for your miniature villagers to eat. Made from porcelain, this well-detailed figurine depicts a tavern. The tavern is raised up off the ground and has a deck on the side. The deck has steps that go down to sandy ground. Around the edges of the wood-like deck is a cord railing.
Meanwhile, the shop itself has wattle and daub style walls. There are two doors, one on the front and one to the side. Above one of the doors is a red sign that reads The Chelsea Pub and Fish Pier. There are windows on the sides of the building. Christmas wreaths and garlands adorn one side of the building. Finally, the windows and doors light up from within with a 120V bulb that uses a power cord. The Chelsea On the Thames Pub makes a great addition to any little Christmas village display or wintry town. It also looks fantastic on display by itself. This hand-painted miniature figurine is made by Department 56.
