Each of the Norse gods has their own throne, and now, you can depict your favorite one seated on their throne, in the form of a personal accessory. This Bronze Seated Tyr Pendant is for those who find favor with one of the bravest of the Norse gods. This impressive little pendant features a rich, lustrous golden-yellow hue, thanks to it being crafted entirely in fine jewelers bronze metal. It depicts the Norse god of courage, war, and law, known as Tyr, in perhaps his most famous of acts. Fenrir, god-wolf and son of Loki, was slated to kill Odin at Ragnarok, and so the gods wished to chain him and bind him. Fenrir, sensing treachery, demanded a god place their hand in his mouth, so that he could bite it off if they did not untie him. None would do so, except for Tyr. This pendant depicts Tyr, his hand bravely held in Fenrirs maw, while his shield rests at his side. Behind his chair is a carved message from an Icelandic rune poem, which reads Tyr God with one hand and leavings of the wolf and the prince of the temples. This accessory is offered as a pendant only, and as such, can be worn with any cord or chain you own to make this into a rather impressive necklace. Even to this day, mythology remains a popular subject, and for those who love Norse mythology above all else, this Bronze Seated Tyr Pendant is the perfect way to celebrate your love of this war-born pantheon.
