Give the witches of your miniature Halloween village a spellbinding place to gather with the 50th Temple of Enlightened Hag by Department 56. Designed in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Department 56, this building combines crooked architecture, vivid colors, and plenty of witchy details to create an enchanting centerpiece for your spooky seasonal display.
The temple immediately stands out with three towering roofs shaped like witches’ hats with the tallest one in the center. Black, green, and purple tones give the building a classic Halloween color scheme, while the curling hat roofs and richly colored accents make the structure look as though it came straight from an enchanted witch village. There are witchy details throughout the temple.
Stained glass-style windows add even more color and mystical character to the exterior. The windows contain cat and potion designs. A witch’s hat decorates the door to welcome magical visitors. Around the back is a whimsical boot drop-off area, and a broom leaning against the side looks ready for its owner to take flight at a moment’s notice. These playful touches give the building plenty of personality and make it fun to admire from different angles.
Autumn leaves decorate the building and surrounding landscape, continuing onto the green and brown ground beneath the temple. These seasonal accents give the piece a richly detailed appearance. Each element is carefully hand painted to bring out the vivid colors and sculpted details.
The 50th Temple of Enlightened Hag lights up from within using an included USB adapter. The illumination shines through the colorful windows, drawing attention to the stained glass-style designs and giving the temple an eerie glow after dark.
Whether you are starting a new display or expanding an existing collection, the 50th Temple of Enlightened Hag makes a bewitching addition to any Halloween village. Display it on a mantel, shelf, or tabletop to create a colorful gathering place for the magical residents of your miniature world.
