Greaves are armour for the leg that is below the knee to the ankle namely the shin area. The Greeks and Romans wore bronze greaves for leg protection. Leather Greaves are the most popular form of protection for the leg, in SCA events and Live Action Roleplaying. Dark Knight Armoury has many styles of leather greaves, like studded leather greaves, plain leather greaves and berserker leather greaves. Most of our leather greaves are made of 13-15 ounce armour grade leather and are hand crafted to your specifications.
