Medieval Arrowheads
An arrow is more than just a simple projectile to be fired from a bow. Different arrows have different purposes. Different styles of arrowheads are meant to perform different tasks. Bodkin arrowheads, for example, are designed to fly farther and possess a mild degree of armor penetration, whereas broad head arrowheads feature a broader edge designed to deliver a wider injury. At Dark Knight Armoury, we carry a wide variety of traditional arrowheads in both of these styles and in a few others. Many of these traditional arrowheads are recreations of historical arrowheads that have been used throughout history, and some are recreations based upon these designs but feature modern touches to update them and strengthen the arrows for rigorous use. These are traditional arrowheads only. As is, they stand alone as great collectors items. If they are intended for use as an actual arrowhead, the archer needs to supply the shaft, complete with fletching, and needs to know how to affix the arrowhead to the shaft properly. If they are used as actual arrows, these simple arrowheads work wonderfully. They are simple, effective, and straightforward, and everything a functional arrowhead should be.
