Hogwarts students first experience the school by boats like the ones stored in The Boathouse from the Department 56 Harry Potter Village. Made from polyresin, this officially licensed statue depicts the boathouse of Hogwarts. The hand-painted building has dark grey roofs, including a spire tower, and brown stonework. At the top of the grey tower, there is a weathervane. Along the side of the stone building is a small staircase. Grey rocks adorn the sides and back of the building. Between some of the rocks, there is a water-like base. This watery design also adorns the figurine at the bottom of the front entrance.
The building has two torches, one on each wall next to the front entrance. The torches light up with LEDs. An AC adapter helps to power the lights.
