Perfect for medieval plays and sword fighting demonstrations, this Templar Stage Combat Sword can withstand edge to edge contact. Displaying thick edges and a rolled tip, this high carbon steel sword is durable and attractive. Inspired by the knightly swords carried in the Crusades, this stage sword may be wielded with one or two hands. Created for live steel action, this performance sword features a strong, full tang with peened construction and solid steel parts. The wheel pommel displays a cross pattee, an equal armed cross whose arms narrow at the center. The cruciform hilt flares out slightly at the quillon tips. A wide and shallow fuller takes some of the weight from the blade. A leather wrapped wood grip provides a strong hold. A leather scabbard with metal accents is included. The Templar Stage Combat Sword is an excellent choice for theater companies and reenactors.
