Axe Construction
This decorative fantasy axe features a straight wooden haft. It has an oval cross-section. Black leather wraps around the bottom of the American Hickory haft to form a grip. At the top of the axe, it has a 1055-carbon steel axe head. The head has a deeply bearded blade, which means that it extends further on the bottom than the top. There is a false edge on this blade. A carved knotwork pattern adorns the axehead.
On the opposite side of the socket, there is a horse head design. The horse is the symbol of Rohan and is visible on many of their weapons and other items.
