Take to the battlefield with historical flair and true warrior style. Wield the River Witham Arming Sword against your foes. Made from EN45 high-carbon steel, this functional sword is a replica of an 11th century original found in the river Witham in England. It features a double-edged, tempered blade. The blade has a Rockwell hardness of 48-52.

A double fuller runs down the center of the blade. Engraved on one side is a series of letters featured on the original, likely to be abbreviated Latin. On the other side, it features geometric designs, including crescent moons.

Next, the sword has a cruciform steel crossguard with angled ends. Brown leather cord wraps around the wooden grip. The hilt ends with a peened, circular pommel, for a more durable construction. It has flat faces. Both the guard and pommel are steel.

Finally, this arming sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Brown leather covers the scabbard. It has a steel chape and throat. In addition, it has rings for hanging the scabbard from a belt. This knights sword is ideal for historical reenactments and weaponry collections.
