When you are creating the perfect miniature Alpine village, make sure that you add Opa’s Cabin by Department 56 to your holiday display. Made from porcelain, this highly detailed figurine depicts a house on a piece of snowy ground. The house features two styles of siding. The bottom half has an orange, log-style siding while the top half is a vertical brown cladding. There are windows around the house. Also, there is a door in the front and one in the back. The windows and doors light up with a 120V bulb powered with a power cord. Above the front door, there is a pair of antlers and a chimney on the roof. Next to the front door is a pile of firewood as well as a sled for carrying wood and a small evergreen tree. Patches of snow adorn the roof. This figurine makes a great addition to any village or wintry scene. Opa’s Cabin by Department 56 also looks fantastic on display by itself. This hand-painted miniature figurine is made by Department 56.
