From the pen of Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote de La Mancha was born, a fantastical nobleman with chivalrous ideas far beyond his limits. The Miniature Silver Don Quixote Sword by Marto is a replica of this esoteric knights Spanish sword. A sword typical of Spanish design, the sword of Don Quixote is a cut-and-thrust sword, which means it is as efficient at cutting and slashing as it is at thrusting and piercing. Even scaled down, this Spanish sword has lost none of its details. The guard still features an ornate, cup-like shell, a traditional cross-bar as a guard, and a knuckle-guard to protect the grip. Scaled down as it is, the Miniature Silver Don Quixote Sword, by Marto, is the perfect reminder of the weapon that this debatably sane knight would have wielded during his fantastical (and delusional) journeys.
