When you head out on a journey or adventure or simply go camping, make sure to take a knife along like the Kanetsune Urushi Knife. Made from 15-layer Damascus steel, this functional knife features a clip-point blade. It features a rough, forged finish near the spine. The blade has a Rockwell hardness of 61-62.
The Japanese knife continues with a black handguard. This guard extends outward on the edge side of the knife. It helps to keep a hand from sliding onto the blade.
Next, the oak handle features a wrapped grip. Black cord wraps around the grip to create texturing for a more secure grasp. The grip widens towards the end to help keep a hand on the grip.
Finally, this outdoor knife comes with a matching sheath. The rectangular sheath features the same cord-wrapped appearance as the grip of the knife. Also, the sheath secures the Kanetsune Urushi Knife in place with a snap strap.
At the top of the magnolia wood sheath, there is a loop for sliding it onto a belt, not included. There are a couple of leather straps with buckles near the top of the sheath. This hunting knife is great for a variety of tasks in the outdoors or wilderness.
