Golok Machete with Sheath

The golok originated in Southeast Asia, where the designs and styles could be quite varied. The Golok Machete features a design that uses a gradually widening blade to enhance the potential of every cut and swing. This blade starts thin near the handle, with the cutting edge having a slight curve as it extends up. The back of the blade gradually curves out as well, expanding the size of the blade to put more mass and force into the upper curve of the blade. The blade of this machete is made from high quality 1075 high carbon steel, and the attractive black epoxy powder coat finish applied to the blade gives it a sleek, tactical look that is hard to beat. The cutting edge is honed and hand finished to razor sharpness. The handle is made from attractive, smooth finished hardwood that has been wrapped around the full-length tang of the machete in order to create a grip that is both durable and comfortable. A small metal lanyard eyelet is passed through the end of the tang near the bottom of the handle in order to an additional measure of strength. Included with this machete is an attractive leather sheath that features a swiveling belt loop.
