The information card is full color on the front and has historical information on the reverse. The Victory Gem Pendant is a great gift idea for that Roman enthusiast in your life or everyday use for yourself.

In Rome, Emperors, victorious soldiers, and athletes wore wreaths made from the leaves of laurel trees. They were worn on the head as an emblem of victory, or by Emperors instead of a crown. The Roman army would carry standards and emblems of each legion. Standards were decorated with gold eagles, laurel wreaths, astrological birth signs, and banners called vexilla. They were symbols of the honor and bravery of the legion and were to be protected at all costs.
