The most common way to start a fire in the medieval world was the flint striker. The Forged Medieval Fire Striker follows this long tradition. This high carbon steel striker has a rounded shape for an easier grip. One side is flat and straight for striking a flint or other non-porous rock to create sparks. That side also features a slight ridge on the interior face. The other side finishes into two tapered, looped ends that slightly curve outwards. This hand forged flint striker can be added to the pack of any historical reenactor, camper, or outdoorsman.

This item is handmade, therefore, it may vary slightly from what is shown above.
