Whether in a rural landscape or in town, the Cardinal Christmas Pony from the Village Accessories by Department 56 is a great final touch. Made from resin, this well-detailed figurine depicts a red cardinal sitting on a conical sisal tree. The evergreen tree has touches of white snow on its branches. Next to the tree is a short wood fence and a pony. A wreath rings around the neck of the brown pony. The pony has white stockings as well as a white stripe down the center of its face. The fence, pony, and tree are on a white base. The Cardinal Christmas Pony looks wonderful in a miniature holiday village or wintry scene. This hand-painted miniature figurine is made by Department 56.
