Romans liked to be efficient in all areas and that included camp cooking. Rather than cook in a fire pit, they cooked on fire boxes like this Brazier. Handforged, this brazier is in the shape of a cube. It rests on four feet to keep it up off the ground. Next, the box can hold hot embers and small flames. There are cutouts on the sides to allow ventilation to the flames. The top of the main box is a grate. The grate has a handle that sticks out past the box for easy access. Four raised flaps above the fire box allow a pot or pan to rest on top of the brazier. Additionally there is a large handle perfect for lifting and moving this Roman style brazier. This little fire pit is great for outdoor camping, cooking, and reenacting.

Please note that this is handmade, so it may vary slightly from above.
