This little blade looks like it would make the perfect companion to a larger sword, although it is a deadly weapon on its own, too. The Brass Hilt Dagger has a simple yet effective look that makes it a great dagger for all walks of life. From the lowliest of the serfs to the highest of the nobility, this dagger is a useful and effective weapon and tool, both. Like most medieval-era daggers, this little stabbing weapon was designed to resemble a small sword, which makes it as effective for slashing as it is for stabbing (although a shorter range makes stabbing more viable as an attack). The carbon steel blade is wide and tapers smoothly to a deadly looking point, while also featuring shallow fuller that helps reduce the daggers weight, while keeping the steel blade strong and flexible. The daggers pommel is crafted from wood and wrapped with leather, while the subtly swept guard and the octagonal pommel are crafted in polished brass. The included scabbard echoes the daggers design, featuring a brass-furnished chape and throat, as well as a leather-covered wood body. When sheathed, this dagger has an overall length of 20 inches. Consider the dagger to be the medieval equivalent of a modern-day pocket knife. There is really no reason to not have one, and if you are going to carry one, you might as well carry a good one, like this Brass Hilt Dagger.
