The Colt 45, also known as the Single Action Army, is one of the most well-known and well-loved pistols of the western age. The Blank Firing 1873 Black Western Six-Shooter meticulously recreates this classic pistol down to the very last detail. The Colt SAA, short for Single Action Army, was issued in 1873, when it was designed for military use, although it was not long before it became a popular pistol among soldiers and civilians alike. This replica features a blued, black-hued finish that makes this pistol look brand new, as well as a black checkered composite grip that makes it a dream to handle and hold. The 4.75 inch long barrel makes this an analogue to the old gunfighter model, which was marketed to civilians when the Colt SAA was first released. Loading this blank firing replica is a snap. All you do is pull the hammer back to half-cock and then open the loading gate, and give the cylinder a spin. Then slide in 6 6mm blank cartridges, and close the loading gate. Fully cock the hammer and you are ready to fire your first blank and really experience some western history! This replica is a single action, which means that you have to cock the hammer back with every shot. All blank firing firearms should be treated like live, working firearms and afforded the same caution, care, and respect. Exercise the same caution and safety with a blank firing firearm as you would with a live firearm, whether it is loaded or unloaded. This revolver replica measures approximately 10.5 inches long, and has weight enough that it feels quite real to hold. It is crafted from over 25 precision machined metal parts, which only enhances the look and feel of the pistol. If you are looking to become an expert at spinning a revolver, then you will need something to practice with. Or better yet, if you are looking to perfect your quick-draw, then this Blank Firing 1873 Nickel Western Six-Shooter is the pistol to use.
