The segmented bone handle and beautifully detailed scabbard with battle scenes in bas-relief complete a sword that any legionnaire or centurion would have been proud to own.

This gladius is by far the best balanced and most wonderful just to look at! Being battle ready just adds more excitement. Also the scabbard is a work of art. I own several gladius and this is by far the best for this era ( Roman ).
